Rodex Mechatronics at the “Building Careers Together” Event in Škofja Loka
“Oh, I remember you – you presented Rodex Mechatronics and technical professions in our class back in primary school!”
That’s what a student said to us with a smile as he approached our booth at the Building Careers Together event at ŠC Škofja Loka. Two years ago, we visited his 9th-grade class and talked about technical careers. Today, he is in his second year of studying mechanical engineering.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to connect with young people early – even during primary school. Not to persuade them, but to inspire them. To show them how exciting and creative the world of technology can be.
“If we inspire even one student, that’s a win,” said our director Milos Petkovic, whose presence at the event reaffirmed the importance of encouraging young people to consider technical careers.
Events like this give us the opportunity to inspire not just one student, but a whole class – or an entire generation. And those who understand that aren’t just building a company – they’re building the future.

€100 billion from the EU to support project transfers and boost manufacturing within Europe. Sounds great, right? But in reality, transferring a project is anything but easy.
🔹 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚’𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙨:
Moving production from Asia back to Europe is often more complex than it first appears:
▹𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗽𝘀: Key people are gone, documentation is incomplete, or—worse—still with old suppliers. Many companies don’t even have a full picture of what needs to be transferred.
